Guide to the Quehanna Trail
by Ben Cramer

The Quehanna Trail (QT) is a 74 mile-long, oval-shaped loop trail in Moshannon and Elk State Forests in Central Pennsylvania. The trail passes through portions of Clearfield, Cameron, and Elk Counties. About 34 miles of the QT are within the Quehanna Wild Area, the largest such designated area in Pennsylvania. The QT has three cross-connector trails that can be used to form shorter loop hikes or hiked in their own right: the Cutoff Trail, the West Cross-Connector Trail and the East Cross-Connector Trail. The area traversed by these trails is among the most remote in Pennsylvania. The Guide to the Quehanna Trail provides you with the information you need to explore this wild area of Penns Woods. Comes with two, full color maps (11" x 17"), printed on both sides of water-proof paper, showing the four quadrants of the Quehanna Trail, Cutoff Trail, East Cross-Connector Trail, West Cross-Connector Trail, and the Old Sinnemahoning Trail. Each map also shows the elevation profile of the Quehanna Trail.
